Cat's Chess Sort of Updated using cme

I just uploaded Cat's Chess's latest PGN today. Download it at this site or view it at Catuse MEB. Catuse MEB, you see, is the Beta of Catuse ME, which is the coolest thing about Catuse X yet.

Furthermore, Catuse ME will be the basis of the Daily Mousehunt, so Lé Radio Store will be leaving Daily Mousehunt for good. It'll be moving to an all new kind of tech&mdashME's ALL NEW Lé Radio Store Bar!

Catuse X Housekeeping

Many of you have noticed the many changes of Catuse! We are currently working on making X the best yet. In fact, we're going a lot faster, but we still need to:
  1. Move PetWars slide show, the Utilities bar, and chat room to the BottomBar, a new cool thing at the bottom of Daily Mousehunt
  2. Merge Go Green Team!, Catuse Calendar, Cat's Chess, and PollWorld into one
Note: Many obsolete things have been deleted, and so many old Daily Mousehunt links are out of date. We apologize for Error 404s.

Catuse X Warning

Catuse and GameSaver will both be going through massive changes until mid-January to make Catuse X. This may cause many Error 404s, so, among other things, please DON'T edit SuperKitty on days that we issue the Don't Edit warning on the Daily Mousehunt. ***UPDATE: 8:55 P.M.***
  • Gamesaver's work is done, but expect Voyager Media's homepage to be done later.
***UPDATE: 9:40 P.M.***
  • Okay, Voyager Media is done. Now just to make the changes to Catuse itself. Please don't get angry if you see an Error 404, the whole site software is being renovated to the latest and greatest in PHP tech, which will make Catuse X a whole lot better than Catuse A2.2. Don't worry, Daily Mousehunt fans, Catuse X will still have this cool little blog.

Lincoln & Kennedy

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Creepy, no? Pass this on to as many friends as you can! Just press the "mail" button at the bottom of this post.

Firefox: 3.0.5 built, 3.1 to be released soon, 2.0.0 dropped

Firefox rules! Three things happened yesterday starring the technologically superiour web browser:
  1. Firefox 3.0.5 was released. This browser has only two new things about it: A security fix and a bugfix that has to do with downloading multiple XPI's at once.
  2. Firefox 2.0.0's 2.0.0.19 release is the last of Firefox 2. Firefox 2 fans, please switch to Firefox 3.0.5!
  3. I read an article announcing that Firefox 3.1 will be released by January 5. Firefox 3.1 will feature:
    • A Private browsing mode that will not save any information, like Safari's
    • It permits you to clear a specific domain from your history automatically (like http://icantgoonthiswebsite.net)
    • Support for the W3C standards HTML5 Working Draft, Geolocation, JavaScript query, CSS3 Working Draft, and SVG Transform.
    • Gecko bugfixes
    • New JavaScript engine, TraceMonkey
Phew! I think that convinces me to get Firefox 3.1 when it's done!

Firefox: Fighting back

I just got wind of a Firefox bug which can be easily fixed. FIREFOX FANS--PLEASE READ THIS!!! A computer program called "Basic Example Plugin for Mozilla" somehow mananged to sneak on to many Firefox Spreaders' computers. Go to Tools » Add-ons » Plugins, and if the "Basic Example Plugin for Mozilla" is there, it MUST be disabled. Otherwise, it randomly takes information from forms, like the one I'm using right now to write this... NOT GOOD. This will be fixed in Firefox 3.0.5, I hope.

Move the <UP> arrow to jump and the <SPACE> key to spin-kick. Break open as many boxes as you can, try to get the crystals, BUT AVOID THE "NITRO" BOXES AND DON'T SPIN THE "TNT" BOXES! Your browser doesn't support Flash.

Tuesday Cat Care Tips

This year, maybe don't "deck the halls". Kitties can climb up the tree, so avoid letting her in the same room as it. Furthermore, many plants such as holly and mistletoe smell good to cats but are death-causing. Keep these too high for Bootser to reach. OBLIVIOUS CAT
